I just finished mass effect 2 for the 10th time (after beating ME1 again earlier this month) and I'm now starting yet another run on ME3. One of the best game franchises I've ever played and by far the best scifi story ever imo.

Okay so am I the only who thinks Tali was by far the hottest. Now don't get me wrong a genderless alien and a relegious space marine are cool partners. It's her nervous attitude and embarrassment that so accurately aligns with my own that mad me love her to death!! (EA done a shit job with the face reveal)

The series had so much potential but sadly it has fallen in the wrong hands. If only EA didn't put their hands on it, the trillogy would've been perfect

A wasted potential. 1st was great, even though gameplay was janky and repetitive, it made you super hopeful about the series. 2nd was brilliant - it improved almost all aspects. Then it later dawned on you that it was repetitive as heck in gameplay and felt more like a collection of excellent short stories than a full game that is supposed to transition the plot from the beginning to the finale. 3rd... 3rd was rushed, and threw all the promises about the series out the window. It replaced them with a plot that felt like fanfiction and cheap soap opera melodrama, with few truly great moments and a fistful of stupid and unnecessary deaths ( DO YOU FEEL THE STAKES YET? ). Then the ending killed the universe for most people. It could've been the best thing ever - cooler than Star Trek, more nuanced than Star Wars. But it failed.

When you get to the lift in ME3, close the game and never play it again. Trust me, you'll get the best ending this game has to offer, and the memories will be good forever.
