Big Mama knows what to say when I need to hear it. I'm on day 2 of the devotional and am STOPPING myself from reading through to the end. God knows what I need and I am allowing His and Melanie's works speak to me every day. Then I'll read it through again and again because it is just that good. Cannot wait for my journal to come in to accompany the book. Every book of Melanie's speaks to my soul, my heart, my life and I love her for it. Get it. Packed with wisdom for the day.
I have loved Melanie's writings in the past, but I have to say that this devotional may be her best writing yet. I have to fight the urge to read it all in one sitting. Each day contains so much everyday wisdom. I am on Day 6 and honestly each of those days has been jam packed with such guidance and strong vision for the day. I always pass on my devotional books when I am done with them, but I just ordered one for my daughter and one for my mother. I felt like they would enjoy them NOW. ---Sandy Palmer

Melanie Shankle is my favorite author and blogger. I have read all manner of books and posts. She’s genuine and makes you feel as though she’s your friend. I’m pretty sure that’s what she’s actually like in person. She’d definitely be one of my people if I actually knew her instead of the virtual online and print version. I love her heart and humor.

I was excited to hear the down-to-earth and hilarious Melanie Shankle was writing a devotional book, and it does not disappoint. As with all of Shankle's books, this devotional is relatable and encouraging, like a conversation with your best friend. I even purchased a copy for my sister!

Melanie’s book does make every day holy!
I’m on Day 22 of this 100 day devotional and each has been thought provoking and inspirational. Melanie is young with a daughter at home, and I’m a retired grandma, yet each of her lessons touches my spirit and heart. I highly recommend this for any woman and am grateful that this book found its way into my life.
Short, Sweet, Simple
Loving Melanie Shankle's short, sweet, simple daily devotional. It makes a relevant point with a related verse in an easy and comfortable manner. This would not be my only Bible reading, but it is a great 3-5 minutes of each day. This book would also make a good gift for anyone.
Wonderful, inspiring book
I loved this book so much that as soon as I finished reading my hundredth day’s story, I lent my book to one of my best friends. She loves it too! We are each giving 8 copies of this book to our friends and family this year for Christmas! It is written in such a down to earth, relatable way, that you can easily reflect upon and incorporate the lessons in your daily life.
