Món tôm chiên giòn đơn giản nhưng lại ngon. Lớp vỏ giòn rụm, nóng hỏi, thơm ngon. Món này có thể dùng kèm nước chấm chua ngọt, sốt mayonnaise, ăn kèm với rau sống rất ngon.
Hòa từ từ bột chiên giòn với nước sao cho thu được hỗn hợp bột đặc sệt để bột dễ bám vào tôm. Tôm tươi bóc vỏ, bỏ đầu chỉ để lại phần đuôi tôm. Chẻ lưng tôm, bỏ chỉ đen, ướp với gừng băm, 1 muỗng canh rượu trắng và 1/2 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm và 1/4 muỗng cà phê tiêu trong khoảng 10 phút.
Đun nóng già nhiều dầu với lủa vừa. Cầm đuôi tôm nhúng từng con vào hỗn hợp bột chiên. Cho tôm vào chảo dầu nóng chiên ngậm dầu, chiên cho đến khi tôm chín vàng đều bên ngoài tôm là được.
Cho tôm ra thấy thấm khô dầu. Sau đó bày trí ra đĩa và thưởng thức nóng.
