Beautiful patterns
To my surprise, I had used one of the patterns in this book several years ago with wonderful results. No wonder I was interested in this book when I saw it! Scrappy quilts should be somewhat organized (something some quilters don't know but learn the hard way) and a large usage of yardage isn't necessary. With 20+ years of scraps I was itching to use, I wanted a book I could go to that had pleasant, easy scrappy patterns. This is one book that satisfied my needs.
I'm happy some of the best have been reissued in this ...
While this book does contain patterns that have been issued before, Miss Rosie's Quilt Co patterns are no longer available. I'm happy some of the best have been reissued in this new book. So if you're a Miss Rosie pattern fan who missed out on these patterns the first time, or a new quilter looking for new patterns that are easy to follow and very well written , this is the perfect book for you.
Lots of quilts
Very rarely have I purchased a quilt book that I want to make all the quilts.
I absolutely love this book
I absolutely love this book. I have several quilting books, but this one is really special. I would love to make every single quilt in this book. The quilts are beautifully designed and offer a quilter the chance to slow down and work on a very special quilt. I also enjoyed reading every part of this book. The author/designer is extremely talented and offers a wonderful perspective on the various aspects of quilting. In my opinion this is a must have for any quilter who appreciates scrap quilts.
Quilts are stunning - instructions are difficult to follow.
The quilts in the book are beautiful- I bought it to make the Come On-a My House quilt. I’m an intermediate level quilter with about 40 years/ 30 or so quilts under my belt. I’m at the end of the cutting phase, and I must say the instructions in the book are a little unclear. I hope when it comes time to assemble the quilt, the pieces were cut accordingly! I’ve had terrific luck with Quilter’s World Magazine, where other complicated design instructions are easier to follow. I guess the jury is still out - I’ll follow up when I’ve assembled the quilt!
Good book
Love the patterns in this book. Many times I buy a quilt book and there are only a few patterns that I like. With this book I have found that I like almost all of them. Can't wait to try some of them.
Awesome book. Great ideas and easy reading and instructions
Awesome book. Great ideas and easy reading and instructions. Great speedy service. Thanks.
My favorite designer in my whole library.
I have over 150 pattern books and Miss Rosie's books are my all time faves! Every pattern is beautiful in design, well written and pre-cut fat quarter friendly. You will not be disappointed. It's 5 Stars, only because I can't give 6 stars!
Best Book
Just getting back into quilting and I found this book very encouraging. Quilts are lively and lovely...makes one want to jump in and use all those fabric stashes. I am sure any quilter would prize this book and enjoy.
Five Stars
I love it!! I've made one of the quilts and the instructions are perfect.
